P.E.A.C.E. is an activity center providing day programming services to adults with developmental disabilities with the goal of promoting socialization, choice, confidence and sensory experiences through art, vocation and involvement in the community.

Established in 2005 with a focus on teaching and skill enhancement, P.E.A.C.E. addresses individual needs and interests through exposure to a broad spectrum of activities, creative outlets and opportunities for income generation. We embrace the philosophy of person centeredness and support individuals in expanding their ability to learn new skills.

P.E.A.C.E. customizes services for each individual depending on his or her needs and wishes.

  • For retirement age individuals we place a strong emphasis on developing social skills through recreationally based activities.
  • For individuals with high medical needs, services are recreationally based with a strong sensory component, while attending to their health requirements.
  • For those individuals desiring employment, our vocational program has the ultimate objective of preparing people for successful employment in the community.

The outcome of each of these programs is increased independence, self –esteem and quality of life.
